Does Hemp Oil contain CBD?
Hemp oil is different from CBD oil. The production of CBD oil uses the stalks, leaves, and flowers of the hemp plant, which contain a higher concentration of CBD, another potentially beneficial compound in the plant. Hemp seed oil comes from the small seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant and contains no CBD.
While CBD is a new ingredient to many consumers, hempseed oil has been around for decades. It’s sold at health food stores and is used in both cooking and skincare. As stated hempseed oil uses only the oil which is extracted from the seeds and not the plant and therefore it has no CBD.
